Traffic Advisory: Construction Near Kino Sports Complex

Please be advised that road construction will take place in the area surrounding the Kino Sports Complex this summer from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM daily. During these hours delays are expected. Drivers are encouraged to be patient and exercise caution when traveling through the area. This work is scheduled as part of ongoing improvements to local infrastructure. We appreciate your patience and cooperation.

The Kino Baseball League would like to welcome all players, coaches and families to the 2024 Sun Belt College League. It is our hope that your summer season will be positive.

There are few things we would like to pass along

  1. The game schedule is now posted on the league website www.sunbeltcbl.com
    • Season will officially start on Tuesday, June 4
    • 21 game regular season + all 4 teams participate in post-season playoffs.
    • Playoffs will begin on July 9.
  2. Teams begin pre-season workouts starting this coming Monday, May 20 at the Kino Sports Complex.
  3. We will conduct player orientation on Monday, May 20 and Tuesday, May 21 at 5:00 PM. We will meet in the parking lot south of the stadium at the Complex.
    • We will have pre-season scrimmage doubleheader games for the teams scheduled for SATURDAY, JUNE 1- game times 4:30 PM and 7:00 PM. These games will be controlled scrimmage type, 3 outs or 6 batters maximum per inning.
  4. Our sponsor and partner Jimmy Johns will be providing box meals to the players coaches after their workouts on May 20 and May 21.

 

SEASON PASSES

Each player's family will receive two season passes that covers all 21 regular season games.

You are to pick up your season pass at the front admission gate to the Kino Fields starting on June1.

You will be asked your players name and sign out for the passes.

The season pass is not valid for:

  • League all-star games
  • Post-season playoffs.

 

Any additional individual(s) that come with the season pass holder(s), will be pay the general admission fee of $5.00 per adult, and $1.00 per student. Ages 5 and under are free.

Re-entry is permitted--but please show your pass to the admission staff when returning.

Attach is Kino Sports Complex facility policies. These are policies of the Pima County Stadium --not Kino Baseball League.

FOLLOWING YOUR TEAM

Each game will have an official scorer that is linked to the league stat app that is linked to each team.

Visit the league website, click on your team and you will find game results, league standings and stats for each player on the team

LEAGUE ALL-STAR GAME SERIES

The League all-star game this year is going to consist of 3 game series through the collaboration with the Mexican Fiesta Baseball collegians representing Mexico.

Game 1 is scheduled for Thursday, July 4 Kino Stadium game time 6:30 PM. the game is part of the Pima County Community Celebration. Following the game will be fireworks.

Games 2 and 3 will be played Friday, July 5 at Kino Field 5. Game times 5:00 PM and 7:30 PM.

Our mission is to develop and provide competitive, structured and administered seasonal baseball leagues for teams in Southern Arizona to compete in established divisions consisting of players ranging from age 10 through 25.
